Players and Parents,
Colleyville Lacrosse Association will be forming “Panther Select” teams for tournament play this summer. We entered a 5th/6th grade team in the Arlington US Lacrosse Regional tournament last summer and it was dubbed a success. We won some games and lost some games but we hung in there with the other select teams. We are going to expand the program to all youth age groups.

Tryouts are limited to players registered and playing with the Colleyville Lacrosse Association.

Tryouts for select team will be held Saturday Feb 4 at Cross Timbers Middle School (U11 @ 11:00 AM, U13 @ 12:30 PM, U15 @ 2:00 PM)

Team selection will be announced on Friday Feb 10

A mandatory player/parent meeting will be held on Sunday night Feb 12th for the players selected

An initial, non-refundable, deposit of $200 will be due at the meeting
-
Final balance of $200 will due by April 1
-
Travel costs (airfare, hotel and meals) are not included
-
We will schedule local games with other select teams on May 12, May 19 and June 2

Arlington Regional tourney is on June 8, 9 and 10
-
Denver Shootout tourney is on June 15, 16 and 17

We ask that everyone arrive in Denver in time for an afternoon pre-tournament practice on Thursday June 14
-
We will practice 1 time a week starting in March. This is in addition to the regular lacrosse season practices

We will practice 3 times a week after the regular lacrosse season has concluded in May
-
Roster size for all teams is 15 (1 goalie, 5 poles, 4 attack, 5 middies, we will identify 1 player on the roster to be backup goalie)

Youth Teams and Practice Schedules Posted

You can click on the Teams menu, Youth Spring 2012 and then the different age groups to find the roster for your team. We're looking forward to a great and fun season of lacrosse. posted 1/6/2012 by Darrell Barabash Registration for High School Girls for the 2012 season is now open. Click on "Register Online" at left to get signed up.
Practices expected to be Tues and Thurs at Colleyville Middle School (CMS). Likely starting either Jan 12th or Jan 17th, pending access to the lights. YOU MUST BE SIGNED UP (meaning at least CLA waiver signed and US Lacrosse verified) in order to start practicing. Payment is due Jan 31st.
A Kick-off meeting will be held January 19th from 7:00pm - 8:30pm at Colleyville Center.
