  • Grade 7/8 has less than 10 spots left

Sean Smith and Drew Jordan voted to 2013 All District Team
posted 5/5/2013 by Ryan Gradke
Sean Smith (Junior) and Drew Jordan (Junior) were both voted to the Texas High School Lacrosse League Division II All District team. All District selections are voted to the team by the coaches in the North District. Both players were recognized as top players at their respective positions.

Sean Smith plays defense for the varsity squad. He continually drew the responsibility of shutting down the opposing team's top player. He collected 80+ ground balls, 30+ caused turnovers, 2 goals and 2 assists. Over 75% of the lost balls caused by Sean resulted in possession for our offense. Sean has been selected to the Brine West Coast All-Star team for this summer, and is being recruited by Division 1 schools such as Holy Cross.

Drew Jordan received his All District award at the FOGO (face off, get off) position. In the 2012 season Drew was honorable mention at FOGO. Drew won 70% of his face off's this season along with 50+ ground balls. He never lost a face-off battle against any opponent. Winning face offs allowed us to win the time of possession battle in every game this season.

Along with our two All District players the following were voted Honorable Mention for the 2013 season: JP Pickwoad (Senior, Goalie), Marshall Hecht (Junior, Midfield), Brandon Hunter (Junior, Midfield), Nick Wooten (Junior, Attack), Jake Moore (Sophomore, Defense), Roy Young (Freshman, Defense), Madux Middaugh (Freshman, Attack).

Congratulations to all Colleyville Lacrosse players who were selected to the 2013 All District teams.

posted 5/5/2013 by DarrellBarabash
All State players are voted to the team by the coaches in the North District. Emily was recognized as one of the top players in her position.

Emily plays attack for the varsity team. She is one of the team’s lead scorers with over 20 goals and her shot accuracy is extremely high at 76%.  She can run a fast break, set up plays, do a crease roll, or one of her favorites; block or check the goalie on a clear and put the ball in goal.  Emily also leads the team on the field, shares face-off duty and switches to play middie when needed to play defense. Emily will attend the University of North Texas and play lacrosse for the “Mean Green”.

Congratulations Emily on your All-State designation!  She will receive her award at the State Championships hosted by Southlake the weekend of May 11-12 at North Park.
